Ya tick tock and ya don’t stop

Rhen was all hip-hop-hooray-ho today. You know, throw your hands in the air and wave ’em like you just don’t care? I think you get the picture. Somewhere lurking behind that bad attitude there was a pleasant little boy full of smiles, we just had a hard time finding him. We took him walking, driving, bjorning, eating, cuddling, swinging, and lounging. It was an all day event. The amazing part though, right now–he’s asleep. C. is asleep too. I knocked him out cold dancing him to Aimee Mann’s, The Forgotten Arm. Mann’s concept album of a boxer returned from Vietnam hooked on smack puts Rhen out everytime and I like the story, also I like her bridges. I’m a huge fan of the bridge in a song but that is an entirely different post. Needless to say, we’re all tired. I could’ve just stayed at work and racked up the holiday pay pulling grills and firepits for our guests celebrating Memorial Day, but this was definitely worth it. Good practice for the upcoming months when C. returns to work.
