Oh, my God, my daughter LOVES that Garth Brooks skit! She’ll be 2 on March 7th – at this point she will sing pretty much that whole song with us. If you start with “whoa whoa,” she’ll pick up with “la la.” I was surprised how much *I* liked Garth Brooks in that one, too!
And on another note, I love your photos (here and on Flickr).
Hey Jessamyn! Thanks for making it over to my blog. Yeah, it was a trip. I’ve always suspected Garth was a good guy, being on PBS and Sesame Street confirms it 🙂
Do you have any idea where I can find that garth sketch on DVD? I’ve looked all over and can’t find. I found somethign that said it was on the “Get up and Dance’ dvd – and I just received it, only to read the fine print and find out that garth is just a guest dancer (and only minimally at that!). all we have is the mini-clip of the sketch available on the the SS website. my son plays it OVER AND OVER AND OVER again – limiting my access to my own computer! i’m almost tired of ‘the whoa whoa song’.. but if I could get it on a DVD – in the middle of a number of other sketches, it would reduce the sum total of time spent listening to it. it’s in my dreams! Any tips would be great…
