Hello. My name is Teddy and this is my website. A collection of stories, photographs, links and news.

“Worship the Futility of It All”

The year was 1999 and I was at my apartment reading Maxim magazine. The type of magazine you don’t exactly read for the articles. However, I was doing just that. Reading an article on people who died peforming their extreme sport.

I came across an extreme surfer named Mark Foo. A Hawaiian native, Mark Foo died surfing the Big One. I was impressed with the one syllable bounce to each name and decided that tedfoo would be pretty nice sounding too.

In 2000 I was in Seattle working for Go2net, providing customer support in their web hosting division. I was having problems visualizing the whole domain transfer process so, I decided I would just try it myself and learn the ins and outs that way. I also had a website that needed a domain name. Naturally, tedfoo popped into my head.

I’ve always liked writing, photography and sharing these things with people. The sharing is my favorite part.

I mostly write about my family and being a first time parent. I have a loving wife, a beautiful boy and two wonderful dogs that are neurotic.
